The Chigi-Farnesina villa

Agostino Chigi, in 1508 had entrusted
Baldassarre Peruzzi the construction of his villa.

As soon as it was completed,
Agostino asked for Raphael's intervention
and so he painted the Triumph of Galatea, completed in 1512.
