MYTH OF PAN AND SYRINGE

Pan, half man and half goat was a mortal god, lived among woods and meadows grazing herds and raising bees.

A lover of nature and as a lover of the pleasures, he was always cheerful.
Syringe was a beautiful nymph, so beautiful that when Pan her pursued relentlessly.

Syringe to escape fled to her sisters who immediately turned her into a reed, when the wind blew through the reeds Pan heard a mournful melody. Pan could not understand what was the barrel into which had been transformed Syringe, then cut some reeds and joined to each other, thus forging a musical instrument that always brought with it.
