The chapel was designed by Alexander Cessani in 1670, inside there were two tondi and two paintings of Salvator Rosa (1615 - 1673), sold to the Prince of Salerno, in 1802.
The tondi were replaced in 1822 by Ferdinando Cavalleri (1794 - 1867), depicting “David with the Head of Goliath” and Judith with the Head of Holofernes, while the paintings, we see today, always painted in 1822: “The story of Tobit” and “The prophet Amos with the wife of Jeroboam” are among the best works of Loudovico Venuti (1785 - 1872.
