FROM PALAZZO MASSIMO TO SANTA MARIA DELLA PACE

From Palazzo Massimo to S. Maria della Pace

Leaving the Barracco museum on the other side of Corso Vittorio we see Palazzo Massimo alle Colonne, a great example of Renaissance architecture.

Opposite Barracco is located Palazzo Braschi. The road to the left of the building leads us into Via Santa Maria dell’Anima, where stands the church of St. Maria dell’Anima, the German national church.

Turning around the church we reach St. Maria della Pace, a jewel of Pietro da Cortona, inside the famous Sibille by Raphael,  not to be lost the cloister of Bramante. Open Monday, Wednesday and Saturday from 9 to 12 am.
