Policleto (fifth century BC), met great success among the Romans, who dedicated to remaking of his masterpieces.
A great meritorious work given that all the works, all the masterpieces of Policleto have been lost.
It 's good to remember that those we see are "interpretations" of Romans, that is satisfying to the taste of the Romans.
