Ginnetti Lancellotti Chapel

Chapel Ginnetti-Lancellotti was designed by Carlo Fontana (1634-1714), while the altarpiece and the portrait of Cardinal Marzio Ginnetti are of Ercole Antonio Raggi (1624-1686).

Raggi first was a student of Algardi and then of Gianlorenzo Bernini. Here he is particularly inspired: exceptional the statue of the cardinal, spectacular the altarpiece.
