The statues
On top of Senatorio Palace, Conservatori Palace, Nuovo Palace you can see a lot of statues, these are plundered statues coming from the most different constructions of the ancient Rome.
Looking at them we can fancy the wealth of the Roman statuary.
The plunder system was widely employed during Medieval, Renaissance and Baroque Rome: statues, columns, pillars, marbles became a part of most of the new roman constructions.
