Fountain of Moses
The water from the Felice Aqueduct is quite popular in Rome.
I remember a little sketch from a few years ago, when there were still Romans in Rome.
A young couple from out of town stopped in front of a thoughtful, mature and hieratic Moses, interrupting his meditation, and dared ask: “Is this water drinkable?”
The majestic figure looked aghast, leaned onto the fountain’s balustrade, and exclaimed indignantly: “Did you hear that?”
People gathered round, while the couple tried to slip away.
“Did you hear that? They asked me if this water is good! This is the best water in the whole world!!!!!!”
